The culture and traditions of NKAH is a source of support for NKAH USA members living and working in a contemporary society. As such NKAH USA promotes the education and celebration of our culture as pathways to understanding the colorful and distinctive heritage that we share. Embedded in our culture is a deep tradition of self-reliance in the NKAH woman. Inherent in our culture is a deep sense of community and family. Passed on from our fore fathers and mothers is a culture of music, dance, folklore, and a penchant for exotic culinary delights. As such, we may, while balancing the competitive demands of life far away from our ancestry home, used these deeply embedded Mankon cultural customs and traditions to both celebrate each other and promote our overall mission of empowerment and development.
