Established in 2001, NKAH USA is one of the eminent not-for-profit (501(C)(3) women’s group in the diaspora focused on improving the life of the girl child. NKAH USA works in collaboration with NKAH in meeting the overall goals of the organization and in promoting the rich heritage of Mankon in the diaspora and beyond. As the NKAH “The Light of Maturity of Mankon”, NKAH USA joins the mother branch in providing academic (scholarships) and material support (school supplies) and community support (career, health fairs) to girls in Mankon and beyond. The fund selects girls based on multiple criteria including, family income, parents’ educational background, social background, and child’s aptitude. The fund takes care of a range of educational needs enabling the girl child to begin, remain, and be successful in life.
